Olympic Torch Day

Today we have been off timetable at Graiseley, to do activities linked to sports and the Olympic Games that are taking place in Paris this Summer. We have made flags, designed products to be used, played sports, conducted experiments and much more.

But there is also a Summer of Sports coming to our own city of Wolverhampton. This afternoon, a special Olympic torch was brought to our school, representing the WolvOlympics project, organised by the ConnectEd partnership, involving 92 schools across Wolverhampton. Selected children from every class at Graiseley then continued the relay, passing the torch on to the Royal School on the Penn Road.
