TTRS Day and Jeans for Genes

It's a day of fundraising, fun and times tables tournaments for us at Graiseley today! If you didn't know already, TTRS means Times Tables Rock Stars, and we have all got our log ins and our alter egos as rock stars for practicing our times tables. We had a special assembly this morning, where all the teachers were challenged to compete with eachother, and certificates were handed out to all the children who have played enough to achieve a rock status, ranging from Wannabe all the way up to Rock Hero. We also looked at which rock stars have managed to turn their so-called heat pads green. A green heat pad indicates that you are secure on ALL your timestables facts and can recall them within a set time. Ask your child to show you TTRS when they come home, and encourage them to keep on practicing. It is the only way to improve those scores! Rock on, Graiseley!
