School Meals
Shires Catering are the new school meals providers. They are dedicated to providing a fresh, new, nutritional meal for children and staff.
Shires are very excited to make these changes to the service at Graiseley Primary School. The staff have had new training and fresh, new uniforms. All of the equipment is new. The plates and cups that the children are using are new - the children in The School Council chose the lovely multi-coloured cups and plates. Shires staff will meet with any parent who wishes to tailor the meal for their child due to any specific concerns or dietary requirement.

Price per meal is currently £2.70

From September 2014, children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can enjoy school meals for free.

Free school meals
To apply for benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM), please speak to the school office.
You will need to provide the school with:
-
your full name
-
date of birth
-
and National Insurance (NI) number or National Asylum Support Service (NASS) reference number
We will then share your details with the City of Wolverhampton Council. They check eligibility using a secure Government website.
If you are found eligible, we will let you know.
If you have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF), you will need to complete an application form and provide additional evidence to the school.
Schools receive valuable Government funding (Pupil Premium) for every child registered for FSM. Even if your child chooses not to eat school meals, we would still encourage you to register.
Registering for FSM also entitles children to access the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme during Christmas, Easter and Summer school holidays
